Dear Friend:
Camac Harps on your website and blog and the World Harp Congress in Canada show that our VI RioHarpFestival is going to be a great success with 22 countries very well represented along with the most important Brazilian harpists. Among them, Athy: Argentine harpist – makes rock and harp arrangements with an unprecedented and sensational mix, Caroline Muller Lieby pianist-harpist and soloist of the Chamber Orchestra of the CFA: Claire Jones, official harpist of the English Royal family. She will play at the wedding of Prince William (www.clairejones.co . uk). From the Buckingham Palace to Pavao-Pavãozinho: Claire Jones accepted our invitation to perform in May at the VI RioHarpFestival of Music at the Museum. She will play here, at Pavão-Pavazinho the same programme performed at the Royal wedding. Pavao-Pavãozinho and Palácio da Cidade were venues specially picked for her.
Carol McLaughlin, Mario Falcao, the young harpists Benjamin Creighton (English), 13 years old, and the Brazilian Lucena,12, are among this year's great stars.
Jonathan Faganello - when heavy metal touches the harp: he manufactures his own harps and is the harpist with more hits on youtube. He plays a repertoire of rock on the harp, an instrument considered a symbol of delicacy and swetness.
